论嘉黛·萨曼《贝鲁特75》对写作主体的探寻

Abstract:Beirut 75 is the first novel written by the famous Syrian female writer Ghadah Al-Samman. This novel predicted the Lebanon Civil War. It combines experiences which the writer has acquired over a long period of creative work on short stories，it is regarded as the symbol of maturity of Ghadah’s narrative skills on fiction and the defining moment when she re-understood and re-defined her identity. Thus，this novel was the start of her facing up to the past and reflecting upon the self. Also，it was the first place she made a bond between her individual fate and the national destiny，and to realize her subject consciousness in order to try to make a step in the direction of identity reconstruction.
