社群边界内的庙宇、坟山与移民时代新加坡华人帮群组织之建构——从碑文、账本、会议记录、章程等切入的研究

Abstract:In the study of Southeast Asian Chinese，one of the key issues is the social structures and forms revolving around ethnic Chinese over migration trajectories. This article focuses on an organization that grew out from the bang system in Singapore over two centuries，a cemetery named Haichun Fudeci Luyeting. The research is based on account books，records，and minutes of the Chinese social organizations. On one hand，it aims to examine how the immigrants made use of the cultural resources from their ancestral homelands in Southern China and reconstructed the social structures and forms in the colonial Singapore. On the other，it attempts to invoke new thoughts on the subject matter in terms of methodology.
