Abstract:The Brunei National Board of Education has defined Brunei's educational guidelines and policies with the aim of establishing a highly effective and equal education system that is consistent with the national ideology of the "Malay Islamic monarchy" and provides all Brunei people with the opportunity to maximize their potential and thus contribute to the development of the country. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport is the department in charge of culture and the arts in Brunei. The Ministry of Culture, Culture and Youth sports consists of the Language and Literature Bureau, the Language and Book Bureau, the Sports and Youth Bureau and the Brunei Museum, as well as a historical centre and an arts and crafts centre.
