Abstract:At the beginning of cultural industry of Macao，professionals and cultural workers were excited and encouraged. However，actually implementing a commercial plan is much harder than imaged，and not everything that is produced can be easily sold. It is through years of constant study that the professionals of cultural industries came to understand the operations，patterns and cycles of the industry. Based on the view of several nonlocal experts and scholars who participated in the forum，it is feasible to develop cultural industry in Macao but it cannot be done in has. In their opinion，professionals in the industry need to thoroughly understand the industry first，learn new things in their work，and be willing to rethink an issue when encountering problems. Besides，the design of macro concepts can often be helpful with resolving problems in these industries. This study aims to provide suggestions for developing the cultural industries in Macao，by looking at the views of the nonlocal experts and scholars at the Forum on Cultural Industries （Macao） 2015.
