Abstract:The year 2015 sees the incumbent President Lukashenko of Belarus be elected，a big ballot lead and a fifth consecutive term. Lukashenko’s solid control of the Belarusian political situation also implies that the Belarusian politics will remain to be the current situation in the predictable future，maintaining its stability. Affected with the domestic and foreign environment，the Belarusian economy has suffered the biggest recession for the past 20 years. Dealing with the economic crisis is the biggest challenge during Lukashenko’s fifth term. As for this matter，Belarus has adopted many measures，trying its best to arrest its economic slowdown，and resume its economic recovery. While it takes Russia as its axis in terms of diplomacy，Belarus also reinforces the East and West balance policy of its own characteristics，frequently writing out “masterpieces”. The cooperation between China and Belarus continues to develop steadily，with the latter’s strong desire to participate in the Silk Road Economic Belt” Construction initiated by China. In 2015，Belarus becomes a SCO observer state，with relevant cooperation going on in an orderly manner，opening up new channel for its multilateral diplomacy.
