Abstract:The Russian economy continues to decline，and negative growth emerges because of sanctions and anti-sanctions，devaluation of the ruble and a sharp decline in international oil prices. Meanwhile，the budget deficit began to appear，the level of foreign exchange reserves were also unable to offset the huge foreign debt. The situation which high inflation and devaluation of the rupee coexist further deteriorates. Foreign trade decline rapidly，and trade structure has almost no improvement. However，Putin’s support rate from the Russian people did not change as Europe and USA expected. Russia government should focus on balance between the East and the West，reform their economic，political and legal systems，improve the investment climate and business confidence，and reduce the dependence on oil.
