Abstract:Currently，Libya is faced with multiple political difficulties：different regions are on parallel tracks；struggle between religion and secularity has intensified；militiasare fighting with each other；and tribes are in constant conflicts. Five reasons are mainly responsible for the failure in Libya’s political transition：weakness in political base，endless political liquidation，adverse security environment，difficulties in economic reconstruction，and lack of national cohesion. Libya’s political turmoil has produced two major negative effects：blocking reconstruction and development of the country，and destabilizing the regional situation.
