预算削减背景下美国的军事调整

Abstract:Mainly because of the effects of anti-terrorist wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and a financial crisis，US financial situation has become increasingly severe，which forces the Obama administration to slash federal budget，and defense spending is the first to bear the brunt of cuts. In this context，US department of defense has taken a series of military adjustment measures. The budget sequestration in 2013 brings further impact on US defense spending，which stimulates the department of defense to take a new round of military adjustment. At present，this adjustment is ongoing. It is uncertain whether the sequester will resume or not in FY 2016，the resulting military adjustment remains to be seen.
