Abstract:Japan’s diplomatic strategy and adjusting foreign policy，proceeding from Japan’s national interests，aims at controlling a strategic commanding height in conducting foreign affairs in East Asia and Asia-Pacific regional cooperation on the basis of U.S.-Japan Alliance and containment against China’s peaceful development. The Abe administration has made effort to gain leadership in the construction of Asia-Pacific security mechanism，and counterbalance China through “value diplomacy”，offset China’s growing influence by improving relations with China’s neighboring countries，and shape an Asia-Pacific regional order based on U.S.-Japan Alliance. Japan’s adjusting foreign policy has impaired Sino-Japanese relations as well as the peace and stability in the region.
