Abstract:The Obama administration considers the Asia Pacific region the top priority of its global strategy，making the U.S.strategy’s eastward tilting process moving ahead greatly.Obama administration comprehensively engages this region by strengthening the traditional allies with Japan and South Korea，by strengthening the strategic coordination with AEEAN and rising powers like India and China，by promoting the bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation，and by interfering the hot issues like South China Sea and Diaoyu Island disputes.The goal of Obama’s strategy is not only to maintain the U.S.leadership role in this region as a whole，but also to meet the challenge of China’s rapid rise.The coexistence of U.S.and China in Asia Pacific is becoming an urgent issue for the two countries.
