广州宜居城市建设的背景、问题及规划策略

Abstract:Currently，many cities take livable city construction as urban development goal. By reviewing the concept and practices of livable city，this paper relearns Guangzhou from the livable perspective，analyzing on the basic conditions and historical opportunities for Guangzhou to be built into a livable city and issues of inadequate rigidity in existing ecological environment construction and the improvement-demanding environmental quality and public services. Finally，this paper concludes by discussing relevant spatial planning implementation strategies to upgrade Guangzhou from “a city of living” to “a livable housing” from various aspects，i.e. set up of ecological environmental pattern，establishment of public facilities system guided by citizen demands and optimization of urban public living environment.
