Abstract:This paper tries to generalize the contents of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” by studying the address made by President Xi Jinping in Kazakhstan，analyse the favorable and unfavorable conditions in building the “Silk Road Economic Belt”，and make some proposals on how to overcome difficulties in the process. As a long term strategic idea，the “Silk Road Economic Belt” has bright prospect. It is important for China to strengthen communication with all countries covered in the Belt，especially with its strategic partner Russia，and frame out implementation schemes that are operable and acceptable to all sides.
