中国和叙利亚友好互信关系的历史与现状

Abstract:Both Syria and China are civilized countries，boasting for their long histories. Although the two countries are geographically distant from each other，they have a long-standing interaction. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Syria and China in 1956 and up to 2022，the two countries have forged a strategic partnership of mutual trust and friendly relations，which has endured through trials and tribulations. During the second half of the 20th century and before the Syrian civil war，Sino-Syrian relations developed significantly. During the Syrian civil war，China was one of the countries that provided the most humanitarian aid to Syria and was its reliable and important trade partner so far. In the new historical period，Syria and China will continue to work together expanding their partnerships in a bid to maximally seek co-prosperity & reciprocity，jointly safeguard international equity and justice，and strenuously promote the two sides to a higher level.
