Abstract:In 2024，aiming to accelerate the construction of a “financial-strong province”，Guangdong has been enhancing the structural reform of the financial supply side. The comprehensive strength of its financial sector was steadily enhanced. Financial services to the real economy expanded in scope and improved in quality，and the financial ecological environment was optimized，providing strong support for the high-quality development of the economy. However，while the province’s financial system remained stable，challenges such as potential financial risks in key areas，unbalanced allocation of regional financial resources，and the unbalanced financial development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area still required high attention. In 2025，Guangdong should seize various strategic opportunities and brought by the continuous release of favorable policies. It should further deepen financial reform and innovation，earnestly work on the “five major aspects” of finance，improve the multi-level financial service system，maintain financial security and stability while implementing a higher level of financial opening-up，and contribute to the construction of a financial-powerful country with its own achievements.
