Abstract:In 2022，the Slovak economy grew amidst internal and external challenges，but at a slower rate. At the macroeconomic level，GDP per capita and consumer spending grew，reflecting the economy’s inherent dynamism. The total labor force and participation rate in the job market increased，and the overall employment situation remained stable despite a slight increase in the unemployment rate. Inflation rose in response to the global economy，and the fiscal position remained solid，with total tax revenues increasing. In the industrial structure，the three major industries of agriculture，manufacturing，and services are maintaining development momentum. In terms of foreign trade，the volume of trade in goods continued to grow，with trading partners mainly being Germany and the Czech Republic. Net inflows of foreign direct investment（FDI）increased significantly，demonstrating the attractiveness of Slovakia to investors.
