Abstract:In 2022，the Lithuanian government faced significant pressures，resulting in slow progress in domestic reforms and widespread public dissatisfaction. The country’s economy experienced initial growth，but later declined due to international and geopolitical factors. In terms of foreign affairs，Lithuania strengthened its security cooperation with the United States，leading to an escalation of conflicts with Russia. Additionally，Lithuania maintained pragmatic cooperation with other European Union member states. Addressing the refugee crisis and promoting gender equality were key focuses of the government in terms of social welfare. However，in 2022，Lithuania continued to intensify contradictions with China on issues related to Taiwan and trade，which strained relations between the two countries.
