Abstract:This article discusses the latest developments in negotiations on climate change at the United Nations Environment Assembly（UNEA），highlighting that climate change is becoming a key issue in global environmental governance. The article focuses on the climate change topics addressed at the sixth UNEA，held in 2024，including “Solar Radiation Modification” and “Effective，Inclusive，and Sustainable Multilateral Actions towards Climate Justice.” It analyzes the key points of the negotiations，the challenges involved，and the positions of major countries or groups. Finally，the article examines how the outcomes of UNEA negotiations have impacted global climate governance，noting that future negotiations on climate change at UNEA may emphasize multilateral cooperation，emerging technologies，a stronger focus on climate justice，and the importance of technological innovation. It suggests that China should actively participate in UNEA negotiations on climate change issues，emphasize the role of technological and tool innovation in addressing climate change，and strengthen public education and awareness，thus better leveraging UNEA as a platform for international climate governance.
