Abstract:From the first day AI was begotten，AI and medicine were closely entwined. The application of artificial intelligence in the medical field brings not only technological innovation，but also the transformation of the medical service model. Artificial intelligence plays a role in many aspects of the medical industry，such as medical imaging，health management，disease risk prediction，virtual assistants，drug design，clinical diagnosis and treatment.In recent years，China has released a series of policy plans for the development of artificial intelligence. In 2017，it has risen to the national strategic level and actively supports the development of artificial intelligence. Among them，the policy on medical artificial intelligence is one of its key contents. The foreign language scientific papers，patent applications and patent publications in the field of medical artificial intelligence in China all show a trend of increasing year by year. In 2018，the overall investment in the medical artificial intelligence industry is in an accelerated phase. The ethical risks that come with artificial intelligence cannot be ignored.The development of medical artificial intelligence in China faces many challenges，including lagging policy supervision，low-level professional and technical talents，insufficient high-quality data，uncertain business operation models，and legal and ethical research gaps. This report divulges that the application of artificial intelligence in the medical field will become increasingly extensive，some products will be formally approved as medical devices，and supervision will become more and more standardized and strict.
