Abstract:Since 2023，under the influence of increasingly intensified geopolitical conflicts，global terrorism has shown a relatively obvious resurgence trend，posing a great challenge to international peace and stability. After the reconstruction of the Islamic State，its branches have frequently launched terrorist attacks around the world，becoming the most threatening terrorist organization. Sub-Saharan Africa has become the region most affected by terrorism after the Middle East. Among them，the anti-terrorism situation in the central Sahel is the most severe. Burkina Faso，Mali，Niger and the border areas of the three countries have become the areas with the most serious terrorism. At a time when the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has reached a stalemate，Russia’s pressure on dealing with domestic terrorist threats has doubled；the negative spillover effects of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict continue to emerge，and the terrorist attacks it has triggered seriously threaten regional stability. The international community’s cognitive differences on terrorism are widening，and the United States’ unilateral formulation of a list of “countries supporting terrorism” has aroused widespread doubts. Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions have added new momentum and opportunities for international anti-terrorism cooperation.
