“金三角”缅北地区毒品问题的现状与未来（2024）

Abstract:The“Golden Triangle”is one of the three major drug production sites in the world.For a long time，due to the proximity of mountains and rivers and frequent exchanges between border people，the opium and other drugs produced in the“Golden Triangle”in northern Myanmar have penetrated into China.China’s drug problem started here and developed here，and this region is still the source of the greatest danger to China.Restricted by the local natural environment，political situation，ethnic customs，economic structure and many other reasons，this situation will still exist for a long time.China has to fully understand the seriousness，longstanding，difficulty and complexity of the drug problem in the“Golden Triangle”in northern Myanmar，then makes correct predictions for its future development.Under the framework of the United Nations，we should actively promote local ethnic reconciliation and peace，strengthen regional control and governance，improve the all-round regional economic and social development，strive for the essence of international and regional cooperation in drug control，and take more effective measures to deal with the impact of this region on drug penetration to China.
