Abstract:Chinese and traditional Chinese medicine have a natural and close inherent correlation，isomorphism，and interactivity in terms of cultural attributes and value concepts. The traditional Chinese medicine culture is prominent，and recognized as one of the most representative elements of Chinese culture at home and abroad. “Chinese+Traditional Chinese Medicine” is a typical，representative，and practical model of Chinese international communication，which has developed under the concept of “Chinese+”. This report aims to explore this model and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.Through the survey of the ways and effectiveness of the current overseas Confucius Institutes in Traditional Chinese Medicine，it was found that the following models have been formed：firstly，integrating Chinese language learning，professional learning，internships，and medical treatment. Secondly，combining the research and development of Chinese herbal medicine with Chinese education. Thirdly，enhancing the participation and discourse power of Chinese in the field of medical research. Fourthly，leveraging the functions of Confucius Institutes of Traditional Chinese Medicine in major public health emergencies. The report believes that traditional Chinese medicine is becoming an important medium for promoting language and cultural dissemination. In this context，attention should be paid to forming a positive interaction between language and cultural dissemination and economic and technological development.
