Abstract:After the outbreak of the COVID-19，the French tourism industry suffered a serious blow and continued to decline. With the end of the epidemic，the tourism industry in France has regained vitality，and the data for 2023 is promising. This wave of recovery is accompanied by many new features such as an increase in international tourists’visit，changes in travel locations and methods. While analyzing the reasons for the recovery of tourism in France，this article also explores the challenges it currently faces，such as inflation，frequent social protests，and low levels of digitalization. However，taking into account the multiple opportunities that France will face in 2024 and the high attention that the French government places on the tourism industry，the author believes that the French tourism industry will continue to rise in the short term.
