Abstract:Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago country，Marine resources are very rich，with superior conditions for the development and utilization of the ocean. In recent years，the Indonesian government has attached great importance to Marine development and put forward the strategic concept of building a maritime power，in which the Marine economy is an important pillar of the strategy of maritime power，and the status of the Marine industry in the domestic economy has been continuously improved，showing broad development potential. China and Indonesia are both major maritime countries and share a common vision for maritime cooperation. The two sides have proposed the concept of “Global Marine Fulcrum” and the strategic alignment of the “Belt and Road” Initiative，and achieved fruitful results in many areas of maritime cooperation. Under the new international and regional circumstances，China and Indonesia should strengthen the establishment of maritime cooperation mechanisms，safeguard regional maritime security，build Marine industrial chains，carry forward common Marine cultural traditions，and protect the regional Marine ecological environment.
