东盟成员参与“印太经济框架”的动向与影响

Abstract:In May 2022，the United States officially launched the negotiation process of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework（IPEF）agreement，and the seven ASEAN countries became the founders of the framework. In the context of the global political and economic turmoil，the motivation for ASEAN members to participate in the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework is to enhance the ASEAN-US comprehensive strategic partnership by joining the IPEF. The four pillars of IPEF cater to the needs of ASEAN members’ economic development and industrial transformation，and other IPEF members have a pivotal position in ASEAN’s external economic relations. Although specific implementation plans for the four pillars of the IPEF have not yet been fully developed，ASEAN members have begun to align their development strategies and industrial policies based on the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Vision（AOIP）to address the opportunities and challenges of joining the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework. With the intensification of the strategic game between great powers，the effect of ASEAN members’ participation in IPEF on the economic relations between China and ASEAN has attracted attention.
