文章摘要:本报告采集2022年1月1日至2023年3月31日国际媒体和社交媒体(Twitter和Facebook)上进博会相关报道及推文,并从主题分布、议题结构、报道趋势和情绪态度四个层面进行分析。在媒体英文报道上,国内信源处于强有力的地位,参展国主动报道数量仍然偏少,媒体机构分布呈现幂律分布特征。而在潜在议题上,无论是国际媒体还是社交媒体都集中于国家间事务往来、企业间经贸合作、高新技术发布等方面。另外,2022年第五届进博会对于文化交往的关注度较之以往有所提升。在情绪感知上,虽负性情绪占比很少,但其形成的舆论效果值得关注。下一阶段关于“讲好进博故事,传播好中国声音”可以体现在四个方面:重构国际传播战略,制定积极精准的传播主题,主动回应争议性话题,搭建以上海本地媒体为主的开放式、立体化全媒体平台。只有如此,才能从历史进程的视角透视进博会传播话语背后中国发展的现代化进程。

Abstract:The China International Import Expo(CIIE)has been held for the fifth time,Chinese modernization provides market opportunities and development entrances for other countries,allowing the world’s multiple civilization forms to advance and expand through the sub-event. In international media coverage and social media platforms,the international influence of the CIIE has further expanded,actively going out while striving to master the discourse and actively communicating emotions in consensus building,openness and sharing,and spreading the concept of innovation and cooperation. This report collects data on the distribution of topics,issue structure,reporting trends,and sentiment attitudes from international media and social media(Twitter and Facebook)from the entire year of 2022 to March 31,2023. It reveals that domestic sources hold a strong position in English media coverage,while the number of proactive reports from participating countries remains relatively low. The distribution of media organizations shows a power-law distribution pattern. Both international media and social media focus on topics related to international affairs,business cooperation,and the release of high-tech products. Additionally,there has been increased attention paid to cultural exchanges during the 2022 CIIE compared to previous years. Although negative sentiments have a small proportion,the influence of their formation on public opinion deserves special attention. The next phase of “telling the CIIE story and spreading the voice of China” can be reflected in four directions:reconstructing international communication strategies,actively and precisely communicating key themes,proactively responding to controversial topics,and establishing a multimedia platform with a focus on local media in Shanghai. Only in this way can we gain insights into Chinese modernization process behind the discourse of CIIE communication from a historical perspective.
