2023年上海合作组织绿色合作：现状与前景

Abstract:Against the backdrop of an increasingly severe ecological environment in the region，green development has gradually become the consensus and development goal of the SCO countries. To further enhance environmental protection and expedite the transition to a green economy，the SCO members have not only formulated green development strategies and related policy documents but also accelerated green cooperation among themselves. These measures have achieved good results，effectively improving the ecological environment and the economy development quality as well as making positive contributions to regional and global green development. In the future，as SCO countries pay more attention to green and low-carbon transition，the gradual promotion of the Green Belt and Road Initiative，and the demonstration effect of China’s green development，the SCO green cooperation has broad prospects. At the same time，it is necessary to overcome a series of problems and challenges such as the complexity and differences in the regional ecological environment，the weak foundation of green multilateral cooperation，and multiple obstacles to industrial cooperation.
