2023年非洲形势与中非友好关系

Abstract:In the year of 2023，changes of the world，times and history have unfolded in an unprecedented way. The deficit of global peace，development，security and governance continued to increase. Africa has maintained peaceful and stable on the whole，but political risks have risen in some regions and economic recovery remained under pressure. All parties in the world have increased their attention and input to Africa，which makes it an important variable affecting the international balance of power. The year of 2023 is significant for China-Africa relations. President Xi Jinping paid a visit to South Africa and host China-Africa Leaders’ Dialogue. Both sides have discussed and mapped China-Africa development plan and cooperation. The 16th Senior Officials’ Meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation（FOCAC）was successfully held，and the nine programs for China-Africa Cooperation have been implemented steadily. During the past year，China-Africa exchanges in various fields and levels have reached a climax，with political mutual trust continuously consolidated，practical cooperation deepened，and people-to-people and cultural exchanges increasingly close. Both sides supported each other on issues concerning core interests and major concerns，and have become the backbone of safeguarding the rights and interests of the Global South and promoting international fairness and justice. The year of 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It is also a key year for implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and charting the great course of building a strong country and realizing national rejuvenation through a Chinese path to modernization. The Summit of FOCAC will be held in Beijing this year. China-Africa solidarity and cooperation will face more opportunities，enhance stronger power，and embrace brighter prospect. Meanwhile，China-Africa relations will also encounter some new and complex challenges. In 2024，China and Africa will work together to polish the golden brand of FOCAC，strengthen mutual political trust，promote high-quality development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation，and set an example for the building of a community with a shared future for mankind through the vivid practice of building a high quality China-Africa community with a shared future.
