中非妇女交流与合作的历程、成效与展望

Abstract:Women’s exchange，as an important part of people-to-people exchanges between China and Africa，which has made contributions to the sound and steady development of China-Africa cooperation，has been paid little attention to. Therefore，we conducted a historical study on China-Africa women’s exchange and cooperation since 1940s，finding that struggling for national liberation is the early exchange topic. To the time of China’s Reform and Opening Up，it turned to supporting African women to participate in the social transformation and economic construction of their newly independent countries. Women’s exchange has been expanded in both breadth and depth and become institutionalized by FOCAC，and focused on the capacity building among African women. To build a China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era and further deepen China-Africa women’s exchange and cooperation，China and Africa should strengthen planning to promote institutional building，strengthen research to provide theoretical support，expand platforms to consolidate relationships，and strengthen collaboration and innovation to promote high-quality and sustainable development of China-Africa women’s exchanges and cooperation.
