Abstract:This article analyzes the background of Egypt’s regional diplomacy during Sisi’s era，and its diplomatic practices in the Arab region and Africa. After the “Arab Spring”，the internal economic and political instability and the situation in the surrounding dysfunctional countries had a huge impact on Egypt’s foreign policy. Due to the severe economic crisis in Egypt，it is important to maintain strong ties and cooperation with the GCC and most importantly Saudi Arabia，the UAE，Kuwait and Bahrain. The efforts of President Sisi and his team to fully restore Egypt’s leadership in the Arab world have not only affected the balance of power in the Middle East，but also the international situation in sub-Saharan Africa and North Africa.
