Abstract:During the period of 2022，relations between Israel and Turkey have gradually warmed，and the two countries simultaneously announced the full restoration of their diplomatic relations on 17 August，2022，ending the previous severance of diplomatic relations in 2018 after the Palestinian-Israeli conflict triggered by the relocation of the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. On the one hand，it conforms to the prevailing trend of the “reconciliation tide” of countries and serves as an important emblem of the recent geopolitical restructuring in the Middle East；on the other hand，it represents a pragmatic collaboration between Israel and Turkey driven by their respective practical interests in the evolving geopolitical landscape of the Middle East. However，the foundation of the current cooperation between Israel and Turkey is still fragile，the core dispute between the two sides—the Palestinian issue is only temporarily set aside，and the focus and foothold of this reconciliation between Israel and Turkey is pragmatic cooperation based on practical interests and security concerns. Whether this situation can be further developed remains uncertain.
