2022年以色列的粮食安全问题

Abstract:Israel’s food security foundation is weak. The COVID-19 epidemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict have brought great challenges to Israel’s food security. From 2021 to 2022，Israel’s food security problems were mainly manifested in insufficient food self-sufficiency and high dependence on the international market. Besides，its food prices remained high and social conflicts were intensified，and the costs were disproportionately borne by vulnerable groups. Joint actions taken by governments and non-profit organizations on food security issues have produced a number of results. Although these measures have generally maintained Israel’s food security，the instability of international situation has brought significant uncertainty to Israel’s food security. The issue of food security exposes the fragility and sensitivity of Israel’s food supply chain，and also reflects the problems of injustice and imbalance in Israel’s development.
