Abstract:In the face of multiple pressures from home and abroad，and thanks to self-sufficiency in natural gas and other energy sources，Israel’s economy was less affected by the Russia-Ukraine war. Although the growth rate of Israel’s GDP in 2022 was slightly slower than that of 2021，the overall economy continued to recover，which was reflected in the rise of exports of services，the leading drive of high-tech industry，the increase in employment rate，the growth of tourism and other aspects，especially in the signing of free trade agreement with the United Arab Emirates，which ushered in a new chapter of economic exchanges with Arab countries. However，the tight labor market，the housing crisis，and the issue of regional security still restricted the development of Israel’s economy，and were the first problems Netanyahu had to deal with after returning to power.
