Abstract:Tehran is the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran. After the Islamic Revolution,Tehran’s population continued to grow, which not only exposed Tehran to a series of challenges in economic and medical services, but also brought many problems in the transportation field, such as air pollution and traffic congestion, etc. On the one hand,Tehran has a high population density and a large flow of people;on the other hand, due to various reasons, compared with cities in developed countries or some developing countries, the construction of modern urban public facilities in Tehran is relatively lagging behind. Therefore, the allocation of urban transportation resources in Tehran is uneven, and citizens of different classes cannot enjoy equal transportation services. The transportation system of Tehran has been greatly developed in the past few years, but for many reasons, the efficiency, quality and green travel of the transportation system need to be improved. Iran is an important link connecting Europe and Asia, and a key node in the implementation of the “The Belt and Road” Strategy. Although the economic exchanges between China and Iran are facing a severe international situation, the two countries have broad prospects for cooperation in transportation construction. In addition,China Transportation construction can meet Iran’s infrastructure needs.
