Abstract:Since the China-India border issue became prominent，territorial disputes between India and other neighbors have drawn further attention. The Modi government’s strong territorial policy can be summarized as a policy commitment to changing the status quo，a diplomatic framing of issues and a show of force in action. This has been proven in The Kashmir issue，the China-India border issue and the India-Nepal territorial dispute. There are complex domestic and international reasons for its introduction，and it has a profound influence on India’s relations with neighboring countries，regional cooperation and relations with major powers，which deserves China’s attention.
