Abstract:In 2022，the political environment in El Salvador was stable，and the Bukele government formulated and implemented populism-oriented policies to maintain his higher support rate. In terms of economy，El Salvador recovered from the impact of the COVID-19，and maintained growth above the historical average for two consecutive years. In terms of the society，the government continued to crack down domestic gangster crime，and promulgated the approval of the Regime of Exception. In the diplomatic aspect，in order to lower El Salvador’s economic and financial dependence on the United States，President Buckle keeped on deepening bilateral cooperation with China in various fields.
