Abstract:The construction of the SCO community with a shared future relies on pragmatic cooperation，one of the core driving forces for the organisation’s sustained development. Guided by the “Shanghai Spirit”，practical cooperation has a solid foundation and guarantee. Firstly，member states universally possess the willingness to deepen pragmatic cooperation. Secondly，the organisation has established relatively mature cooperation mechanisms through long-term collaboration. In terms of achievements，the SCO has long been committed to cooperation in trade and investment facilitation，regional infrastructure development，energy and resource exploration，education and cultural exchanges，scientific and technological innovation，agricultural cooperation，and healthcare. These areas have accumulated rich cooperative experience and yielded fruitful results，particularly regarding primary strategic outcomes. These have laid a solid foundation for constructing the SCO community with a shared future. It is precisely due to the substantial promotion of pragmatic cooperation that the development of the SCO has remained strong，making collaboration within the organisation’s framework more attractive to member states. The comprehensive progress in practical cooperation significantly promotes member states’ collective identification with the organisation，making it one of the critical areas in building the SCO community with a shared future.
