Abstract:Although the Parsi community is a tiny community in India，it has a significant impact on India’s economy，culture，and politics，especially in the field of philanthropy，which is widely influential and highly regarded. Parsi philanthropy covers a wide range of areas，including religious architecture，education，health care，daily life issues，disaster relief，etc. Moreover，Parsis’ philanthropic donations are made to both the Parsi community in India and other communities in India，and even outside India in Iran，the United Kingdom，Hong Kong，China and other regions. The most important reason for their philanthropy is the idea of “three good things” advocated by Zoroastrianism，which emphasizes the necessity and importance of making a choice between good and evil and putting it into practice；on the other hand，it also stems from the special characteristics of the Parsis as a small and foreign group in India and their survival strategy. However，there is also a social trust crisis and a lack of organizational management in the philanthropy of the Parsi community.
