Abstract:Due to its unique geographical location，Morocco is susceptible to the impact of climate change，which has a negative impact on its ecosystem，economic development，and social life. Morocco is also an active player in addressing climate change and sustainable development，adopting multiple adaptation and mitigation strategies related to climate change not only from an institutional perspective，but also strategically. According to the report 2020 National Report—Voluntary National Review of SDG Implementation in Morocco，the overall implementation of environmental protection in Morocco is good. Looking ahead，the concept of sustainable development，the development and utilization of renewable energy，and China-Morocco cooperation have provided Morocco with broad space for sustainable development，but they also face challenges such as how to balance the development of economy growth and environmental protection，the influence of limited finances on fighting climate change as well as the influence of limited resources on social inequality.
