Abstract:Iran's Constitutional Revolution in 1906-1911，as a part of waves of national liberation in Asia-Africa-Latin American area，is a bourgeois democratic revolution which made a significant influence on Iran's history.Although the revolution brought the first constitution and established the political framework of the separation of three powers，the parliament closed under the interference of the domestic and international forces.Causes of the failure of the revolution lay in the complexity of the participants who had their own interests，the absence of the formal military，the divergences in the democratic parties and the betrayal of Ulama.What's more，nationalism aiming at the restriction of the emperor could not change Iran's political and economic situation and couldn't prevent Western's plan to divide up Iran.
