Abstract:Aliya is the premise and basis of Israel’s existence. It can be said that there is no Israel without Aliya. The establishment of Israel in May 1948 opened the door for Jews from all over the world to Palestine. From the founding of Israel to the break of diplomatic ties between the Soviet Union and Israel in 1953，about 300，000 Eastern European Jews successfully immigrated to Palestine. The Soviet Union consolidated the new Jewish country by allowing and even encouraging Eastern European Jews to emigrate to Israel，and successfully realized the long cherished political wish of expelling British forces in Palestine and meddling in Middle East affairs.
