新时期上海合作组织政治合作面临的形势和任务

Abstract:After 20 years of development，the SCO has made remarkable achievements and become an important constructive force in the Eurasian region and international affairs. At present，the SCO is at an important juncture of major development，transformation and readjustment. The transition and upgrading of the SCO and the building of a SCO community with a shared future cannot be achieved without close political cooperation among member states. The political cooperation of the SCO in the new era should focus on strengthening solidarity and mutual trust，establishing the concept of multilateral cooperation，participating in regional and global governance and consolidating the legal basis for the organization’s development，the SCO should promote its own development in the face of great changes unseen in a century and speed up the building of an even closer SCO community with a shared future.
