2022年中国数字贸易发展报告

Abstract:Digital trade is an important part of the digital economy as well as the major vehicle to develop export-oriented digital economy. China attaches great importance to the development of digital trade. As pointed out in the report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China，“we will upgrade trade in goods，develop new mechanisms for trade in services，and promote digital trade，in order to accelerate China’s transformation into a trader of quality”. It is difficult to accurately measure digital trade，a new economic form，with current statistical theories on international trade or statistical survey systems and methods，and there is urgent need for innovative statistical theories，systems and survey methods targeting large-scale digital trade. This report makes active exploration on the digital trade measurement system applicable to China. By using the concept of “digital convergence level” and official data from authoritative agencies，it estimates the import and export volume of digital trade in China in 2021，with a view to provide theoretical and data reference for measuring large-scale digital trade in China.
