Abstract:In 2021，the main events in the political field in Kyrgyzstan included the holding of presidential elections and constitutional reform. This year，Kyrgyzstan announced its first five-year development plan since independence. In the economic field，affected by the epidemic，Kyrgyzstan’s economy is still implementing an economic recovery plan in a difficult situation. In the field of diplomacy and security，Kyrgyzstan’s national security and external relations this year mainly focus on events such as border conflict and Afghanistan. In the “Belt and Road” cooperation，the political situation in Kyrgyzstan gradually stabilized after the presidential election and constitutional reform in Kyrgyzstan. The relations between China and Kyrgyzstan have not changed significantly，and the two sides still maintain close communication and political mutual trust. However，China’s “Belt and Road” cooperation with Kyrgyz，is still facing more risks，due to border disputes and the Afghan problem.
