金砖国家自贸区建设思路及前景

Abstract:Since the establishment of the BRICS mechanism，a comprehensive and multi-level cooperation mechanism has been formed. With the growing national strength of our five countries，BRICS cooperation has become deeper and more concrete. The influence of BRICS cooperation has gone beyond the scope of the five countries and become a constructive force for promoting world economic growth，improving global governance and promoting democracy in international relations. However，as an important part and promoter of regional multilateral economic and trade cooperation，the construction of free trade area has not yet entered the agenda of BRICS cooperation mechanism building. To this end，it is necessary to analyze the great significance and necessity of BRICS countries to start negotiations on the construction of free trade area for further deepening practical cooperation，the opportunities and challenges faced by starting negotiations on free trade area，explore the feasibility and basic countermeasures to eliminate differences and enhance consensus，and start negotiations on free trade area as soon as possible.
