2021年粤港澳大湾区集成电路产业发展形势

Abstract:The integrated circuit industry is a strategic emerging industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a key measure for the Greater Bay Area to realize the transformation of old and new drivers of growth and pursue high-quality development. It is also an important guarantee to meet the challenges of the new round of scientific and technological revolution，participate in global competition and improve international competitiveness. Under the background of analyzing the development of China’s IC industry，this paper analyzes the development status of the IC industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from the aspects of “industrial chain，design，manufact-uring，equipment and packaging”. This report argues that there are the following problems in the development of integrated circuit industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area at the present stage：the subjecting of key equipment and technologies to others；high-end chips rely heavily on imports；The design industry is suppressed “outside” and chased “inside”；wafer manufacturing capacity is insufficient；there is a serious shortage of high-end talent training. Based on this，this report puts forward policy suggestions to further promote the development of integrated circuit industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
