Abstract:In 2021，the world continued to be affected by the pandemic COVID-19，which is shown in all aspects of Swiss society. Despite the impact of the pandemic，the number of immigrants has increased，and the number of asylum seekers has increased as well. In Switzerland，most people are tolerant towards immigrants，but some discrimination still exists. The migrant groups themselves take the initiative to deepen their integration in Swiss society. Externally，Switzerland controls the flow of migrants entering Switzerland by cooperating with the countries of origin. In 2021，the shortage of medical personnel exacerbated by the impact of the epidemic has appeared，and foreign personnel can partly solve this structural problem. In addition，the largest number of asylum seekers came from Afghanistan，which has become the focus of Swiss society.
