Abstract:In 2021，Israel’s economy recovered rapidly from the pandemic. A series of indicators displayed an outstanding economic performance. The annual GDP growth rate of 8.1% has set the highest record in the past more than two decades，which demonstrates the strong resilience of Israeli economy. The new round of Arab-Jewish conflict in Israel，the most widespread one since the founding of the state of Israel，has become the trigger for a new round of Israeli-Palestinian conflict. After 12 consecutive years in office，Benjamin Netanyahu stepped down，and the new Bennett-Lapid government preliminarily gained its footing. In terms of internal affairs，the new government shelved disputes，advanced consensuses，and focused on livelihood issues and national governance. As for external affairs，the government was committed to multilateralism. It enhanced relations with traditionally friendly countries and exploited ties with new friends，by means of which Israel has made commendable achievements in many fields. However，how to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth，how to repair the rift in the domestic Arab-Jewish relations，and particularly how to maintain the stability of the coalition government，will continue to test the new government’s governing wisdom and capability.
