Abstract:To achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in China，energy is the main battlefield and electricity is the main force. Firstly，this report analyzes the challenges and opportunities of low-carbon transformation of energy and power under the vision of carbon neutrality；then，based on energy and power planning and optimization model tools，the development paths of energy and power low-carbon transformation are quantitatively evaluated from the aspects of energy supply side and consumption side structure，power and electricity structure，and the structural characteristics of future energy and power system are described；finally，the implementation points and policy suggestions of low-carbon transformation are put forward. This report conclude that improving energy efficiency and adjusting the energy structure are key measures to achieve carbon neutrality in the energy sector，the power industry is the main force of energy carbon emission reduction，to achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality for power Industry，it is necessary to coordinate the development positioning and rhythm of all types of power sources and reduce carbon emission by stages.
