进博会促进上海国际金融中心建设研究报告

Abstract:Restricted by a capital account not completely opened up and sluggish financial reform in China，there is still some gap between Shanghai and major international financial centers. China International Import Expo offers a perfect opportunity to promote the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center. The direct and indirect financial demands brought by the CIIE will promote financial reform and financial innovation and promote the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center. The report systematically analyzes the status of Shanghai International Financial Center and the financial demands of the CIIE，and proposes four pertinent suggestions for promoting the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center：advance RMB internationalization in an orderly manner by upgrading FT account functions；apply for establishment of a Shanghai International Import Expo RMB Assets Liquidation Center；develop the free trade zone，international import expo zone，and international financial center zone in an overlapping，hand-in-hand and integrated manner and give rise to policy superposition advantages；explore free trade port construction and offshore financial center construction on the basis of the Shanghai free trade zone.
