Abstract:China’s top 100 Internet companies are divided into three echelons:super platform enterprises,large platform enterprises,and small and medium-sized platform enterprises. The five super platform enterprises in the first echelon account for more than half of the total market value of the top 100 companies. These enterprises belong to six categories of platforms,including online sales,life services,social entertainment,information consulting,financial services,and computing applications. Among them,life service platforms account for the highest number and market value. In 2021,due to the influence of platform anti-monopoly,the “double reduction” in education,and the threat of delisting of Chinese stocks,the market value of Internet companies showed a general decline. In terms of the new trends of Internet companies,since 2021,some companies have begun to include the “two-carbon” goal in their corporate strategies,and steadily promote the process of corporate greening. Many companies have involved in the concept of Metaverse ranging from technology,content and organizational structure. Leading Internet companies have been actively deploying application scenarios such as unmanned driving and Vehicle-to-everything to help transform sci-fi scenarios into reality. At the same time,under the background of anti-monopoly policies,Internet companies will no longer be able to rely on monopoly to obtain excess profits. Driven by the platform’s strong regulatory policy,the solution of big data discriminatory pricing,forced data collection,“996” and other problems will also usher in a turning point.
